Our
Mission
As Victim Services of Santa Clara Pueblo or Kha’p’o Owingeh, we want to keep our people strong by protecting and providing resources for victims of any and all types of crime. Crimes such as but not limited to domestic violence. We believe everyone should live in a safe and violent free community and have a place to contact if they find themselves in a dangerous living situation or a victim of crime.
Services
- Advocacy – Support when engaging with Tribal Court; assisting with Orders of Protection, accompaniment for Cour hearings and assistance with documents.
- Referral Source -After an Intake the client will be linked up with the most suitable services they require.
- Immediate Crisis Response – If a victim of crime comes forth through self-referral or through referral from another department or program and we find that they are deemed in an emergency situation that client/victim can be eligible for emergency housing.
