Mission

The mission of the Santa Clara Pueblo Office of Environmental Affairs is to protect the environment within the jurisdictional area of Santa Clara Pueblo and address issues of environmental concern that impact or potentially impact the health, culture and traditional practices of the Pueblo. In order to increase protection of its environment, the Pueblo established the Office of Environmental Affairs in 1992 to develop and maintain internal technical capacity to monitor water, air and soil.
