Professional attorneys may be admitted to practice before the Courts of the Pueblo of Santa Clara.

To be eligible to practice before the Courts of the Pueblo of Santa Clara an attorney must:  

  1. Be an active member in good standing of the New Mexico State Bar or be certified and eligible to practice before the Courts of any other State or the federal courts; 
  2. Abide by the Rules of the Courts of the Pueblo of Santa Clara and any orders issued by the Courts;
  3. Be knowledgeable and generally informed about the people of Santa Clara, their traditions, and customs;
  4. 4. Pay the admission fee of $100.00;
  5. Take the following oath:

“I do solemnly swear (or confirm) that I will support the Constitution and laws of the United States and the Constitution and Civil and Criminal Code and all ordinances and resolutions of the Pueblo of Santa Clara, and that I will maintain proper respect for the Courts and judicial officers of the Pueblo of Santa Clara.”
